Explore Our Stories Joe – Paul – Chris

Joe is our Chief Engineer, endowed with a Knox trait, fortitude. Joe makes time to be with family, to read, and walk with two Knox pals. A good listener, he brings business acumen, a good nature, and a ready sense of humor to a conversation. Workmanlike in any endeavor, Joe’s a valuable teammate who focuses on the principal task. He plays his position to the hilt and leads by example.

Paul is our Chief Navigator, endowed with a Knox trait, endurance. He combines it with generosity to lead a life of value to his family, his friends and his employer. Paul is versatile, demonstrating reliability all along. His outstanding ability to persist over the long haul on any project keeps us confident that we can reach our target. If we keep pace with Paul, we’ll get there.

Chris is our Chief Planner, endowed with a Knox trait, Motivation. Chris appeals to each Knox walker’s gung ho attitude taking on each task. A salesman by trade and nature, Chris has as much fun planning a walk as taking it. On each walk, he pretty much talks all morning about the “reward”: the noontime meal eventually coming up. Fellow Knox walkers remain undistracted and trudge on, working up an appetite too.

Knox Walkers’ goal is to reach Gen. Knox Train of Artillery’s starting point, Crown Point, NY in January, 2026, 250 Years and a month after the day Gen. Knox began to head to Boston from there.
